Cesar Aguirre has been involved in the spread of Aikido for the past 12 years. Currently at the rank of Sandan (3rd degree), Aguirre sensei aided in the growth of The Woodlands Aikido Center as a senior instructor, founded the University of Houston Aikido Club, was a staff member at the headquarters school of Aikido Association of America in Chicago, and has helped develop several satellite programs in Tomball, Spring, and Magnolia.
Aguirre sensei, a student of Michael Black at The Woodlands Aikido Center, was also a kenshusei (dedicated student) of the late Fumio Toyoda Shihan. Two instructors known for their dynamic Aikido and energetic classes. Our current student affiliation is by Kobayashi Dojo's of Japan and receive annual instruction from this association by visiting instructors from Japan.
